Rosie Joy Smith is a Christian singer / songwriter residing in Murwillumbah, NSW Australia.

 

She grew up following the footsteps of her sister Katrina, participating in school choirs until she taught herself the guitar at the age of 15. It wasn’t until a month after her baptism at 21 years of age, that Rosie started writing her own songs by the grace and inspiration of God.

From that day on, she developed a passion for sharing the Word of God through song and has written over 50 original songs, with her first EP “The Well” being released in 2014 and her first full album "Beloved of Mine" released in 2017.

​

In 2014, she was awarded as a finalist for "Best Original Song" at the Manifest Arts Competition. Since then she has had opportunities to take her music internationally, singing in Fiji & Singapore.

​

With a heart for children, Rosie is currently working as a Chaplain and Primary School Teacher outside her music ministry.

This music ministry also supports the work of Destiny Rescue, a local organisation saving children from the devastating industry of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
